All you are really doing is erasing some of the extra lines to make the bottom more narrow than the top. Like an upside down egg shape. Again, it doesn't have to be perfect.
Try erasing inside and outside of the shape to get the lines you want. Add lines with long sweeping motions... it makes them smoother. Then erase the excess. Don't draw short lines in this step.
