Whoa... what happened there? Well after a much needed break I stood away from my drawing to see what was wrong with it. i darkened up the hair which forced me to work on the face and the body. It's a good idea to work on the drawing as a whole. Otherwise you'll get something like one very detailed eye, no nose, a cartoon ear and missing limbs.
I'm still trying to push the lines to better fit the shape of Maki's face. Remember to draw a new line first before erasing the old. Right now you can say it's done and move on to something else, but I want it to really look like Maki before giving up.
